About AGU
Hi, my name is Iwan
And I am a professional mixing and mastering engineer from the Netherlands, as well as an independent artist.
I’ve been involved in music for the past 15 years and it’s been the love of my life.
Since 2023 I’ve gone full time as an Engineer and haven’t looked back since!
I also produce music as an Artist under the moniker of AGU.
This project has also really taken off these last years and I’m proud of my work.

Mixing & Mastering
Mixing is the process that comes after the production of a song.
It’s main goal is to get a good ‘mix’ by making sure all volume levels are balanced and bringing the right elements to the center of attention.
By making good use of EQ’s, Compression, FX’s (like Chorus or distortion) amongst others a mixing engineer molds the track into a finished stereo mix.
It is a creative process that can add a lot of flavor, depending on the wants and needs of the client.
Mastering is the process that comes after mixing.
It is the final step before your music is ready to be distributed. A fresh set of ears, superb monitoring and years of knowledge make for the perfect final ‘bastion’ of the production cycle of a song.
A (small) part of the mastering process is also to make sure a song is loud enough to be commercially viable!
In mastering, it comes down to those final 10-15% to bring a song to life and help it translate on all sorts of playback systems.
The most important thing for me is to understand you and your vision for your precious music. I’m here to help you and your music come to life and communication is key!
My Rates
I love my job and I always want to be able to provide opportunities to Artists that are starting out.
So if my rates are not within your budget, you can always reach out.
I’m sure we can make it work.
2 TRACK
I will mix a purchased, or licensed beat with recorded vocals together.
fULL MIX
I will mix a fully tracked out project from stems with no limit on the amount of tracks.
MASTER
I will master a stereo mix for digital distribution. On request I can also master for Vinyl.
STEM MASTER
I will master from up to 8 ‘stems’ for digital distribution. (Vinyl is also possible here)
*I do not believe in charging for revisions.
We’ll work together until YOU are happy with your music.
